Covina'sLatest Project

As a landscape architecture student at Cal Poly Pomona, I had the opportunity to work on a project that would make a difference in the city of Covina, California. Our task was to design a new park and present our ideas to the city hall. My vision was to create a peaceful, yet playful environment that would encourage families to come and enjoy the outdoors. I chose to keep the design simple, using lines of bush-like plants to guide visitors along walking paths that wind through the park. I also included a small playground for children to enjoy, as well as ample lighting to ensure safety during evening hours. My hope is that this park will serve as a peaceful retreat where visitors can relax and escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
